Keri Russell Bares Her Amazing Abs, Bikini Body for Women's Health

God bless the Americans — especially Keri Russell! Gracing the May cover of Women’s Health magazine, the FX actress reveals a slightly lesser-known side of herself: Her awe-inspiring bod, especially her abs! Next to a blaring cover line that reads “BEST. ABS. EVER,” the 37-year-old mother of two and Felicity alum strikes a casually sexy pose in a printed bikini top and extra-short denim cutoffs which emphasize a stunningly taut midsection and lean legs.

Now starring as a KGB agent living under deep, deep cover opposite Matthew Rhys on FX’s acclaimed new series The Americans, Russell lives in Brooklyn, NYC with carpenter hubby Shane Deary and their son River, 5, and daughter Willa.

How in the world did Russell maintain that body after babies? “[I have] this really nerdy workout I do in my walk-through closet in our brownstone, ” she tells the magazine. “I do a workout video and use my own music –whatever is inspiring to me at that time, like Alabama Shakes, the Cure, or Mumford and Sons.”

Her eating habits weren’t always perfect, she admits. “I don’t think I ate a green vegetable until I was 30,” the former Mickey Mouse Club star says. “I didn’t grow up with a mom who enforced that at all.”

Although she’s proud of her shape, Russell confides that a few things have supposedly fallen by the wayside. “I’m not a complainer about age. I think my girlfriends all look so much better now than they did 15 years ago,” she begins. “But the thing I notice most is my butt. I used to have a really good, plump butt. Ugh–now my butt’s gone. I do wish I had my 25-year-old butt!”

The former child star also credits her adopted home town for encouraging a healthy lifestyle — sort of! “My number one healthy tip? Everyone should dance more. Everyone should walk more,” Russell says, adding, “I mean that’s one of the great things about living in Brooklyn and in New York. You get to eat a big rich fatty meal but then you can walk home.”
