NFL odds, lines, point spreads: Updated Week 4 betting information for picking every game

It's already Week 4 of the NFL season, and some bettors are attempting to get ahead of the market in the early week while others wait until Sunday to get their action down. Whatever your strategy for betting on the NFL is, we're here to provide you with the updated odds, lines, and over/unders for each game.

Prior to the Giants and Cowboys meeting on Monday Night Football, the dogs were once again barking, as Week 3 saw underdogs go an impressive 9-5-1 against the spread. On the season, underdogs have been more profitable than favorites, posting a 26-18-2 ATS mark. Regarding totals, UNDERS have been more profitable than OVERS through the first three weeks, and if you've continued to blindly bet UNDERS at closing, you've gone 29-17-1.

Week 4 kicks off with an AFC showdown between the undefeated Dolphins and the reigning AFC champion Bengals (-4) in the third edition of Thursday night football on Amazon Prime. On Sunday, the action kicks off bright and early, as the Saints face the Vikings in the first international game of the 2022 season in London at 9:30 a.m. ET. After that, we have what will likely be yet another entertaining 13-game slate where bettors are hoping to profit off of sides, totals, money lines, and player props. Remember that these lines will move throughout the week as we get updates on various injuries and as betting limits increase.

Below, we take a look at the latest odds for Week 4 from Caesars Sportsbook and offer up a few early bets to consider for this upcoming week.

NFL best bets for Week 4

Odds as of Monday (9/26) at 1:00 p.m. ET

Bengals -3 (-110) vs. Dolphins

Miami enters Thursday night as one of the NFL's two remaining unbeaten teams, coming off back-to-back impressive victories over Baltimore and Buffalo. Head coach Mike McDaniel has his group playing connected, but starting the season 4-0 is not easy. We're definitely not counting McDaniel out, but Miami has been a bit fortunate to sit at 3-0 entering Week 4. Buffalo wasn't able to execute when it mattered most last Sunday, but still, the Bills outgained the Dolphins 497-212 while running 51 more offensive plays (90-39). Despite some early season struggles from the Bengals, they put together a full 60-minute performance in their 27-12 Week 3 win over the Jets. Given Miami had to expend a ton of energy and effort to squeak by the Bills while the Bengals coasted to victory, this short week sets up to favor Cincinnati. It's also worth monitoring Tua Tagovailoa's back situation, as we'll see how this line moves leading up to kickoff.

Cowboys -3 (-105) vs. Commanders

Even with QB Cooper Rush at the helm for the Cowboys, we're laying the three points to back Dallas to notch a divisional win and cover against the reeling Commanders. Head coach Ron Rivera's seat is getting warm, and with the Commanders' defense looking like one of the weakest units in the league coupled with Carson Wentz running the offense, things are trending in the wrong direction. Dallas is a more complete team at the moment and would be favored closer to a touchdown if Prescott was indeed playing. Yes, Rush is a downgrade at QB, but in this instance, Dallas' cheaper price warrants a bet.

Rams moneyline (+115) @ 49ers

For our last wager, we'll back Sean McVay and the Rams to win outright in San Francisco on Monday Night Football. Outside of last season's NFC Championship game, Kyle Shanahan has had McVay's number, winning six of the past seven meetings between these NFC West rivals. Even with Shanahan and the 49ers dominating the series in the past few years, we think the Rams secure a road victory. Jimmy Garoppolo's reemergence into the 49ers' offense didn't look good in Week 3, as the 49ers scored just three points after scoring a touchdown on their opening drive. This one's essentially a coin flip, but we'll side with the team we trust a bit more at the moment.
